MICHELLE KAISER
Owner
Michelle Kaiser always knew that someday she wanted to turn her passion for details and love of entertaining into a career. After graduating from college, getting married, and becoming a mom she jumped on every chance she had to plan parties for family and friends. With a communications degree and a Master’s in Administrative Studies, her career took a path of facility startup, marketing, and program management. But that creative fire continued to burn and she eventually left the corporate world for an opportunity to work part-time for a local caterer. It was during this time that the opportunity of her dreams presented itself and Town Square was born.
Michelle loves planning events of all sizes and admits that in the beginning, the idea of Town Square was simply to have a beautiful venue to get married or have a party. Eight years later it has expanded to be an all inclusive venue with services that allow Michelle to show all of her passions through cakes, flowers, food, and all those little details that makes each event extraordinary.
Michelle lives in Paola with her husband Kelly and her 2 very busy children.
BETH LANGE, Event/Floral Design
Beth joined the Town Square team in June of 2012 and quickly found her passion helping create each bride’s floral vision for their big day! She loves using her creativity to try out new ideas. Beth also enjoys coordination for wedding ceremonies and reception. She feels honored to be a part of one of the most important days in a couple’s life.
With 5 very active kids and her husband, Beth has a very busy family life but finds balance with her floral design work and the great families she gets to work with at Town Square.
TAMMY HARRIS, Event Design
Tammy joined the Town Square family 5 years ago after running an in home daycare for 27 years. “I love that I can develop a personal relationship with the bride and can help to make their wedding unique. My goal is to help them create the day of their dreams!”
Tammy is a lifelong Paola girl. She and her husband, Chuck, were high school sweethearts and have two daughters. They cherish time with family, especially their grandson.
KELLI WILSON, Event Design
Kelli joined the Town Square family over 6 years ago and loves working to make each event unique. Owning her own home-based business has given her the ability to be flexible and creative when it comes to getting everything done. She just never knew how important those skills could be until she came to Town Square. “You never know what each day will bring. From doing floral arrangements for tomorrow’s wedding, to preparing linens for a dinner for 300 guests – we all just pitch in and do what it takes to make sure every event is a success! I love that each event we put on brings a new experience.”
Kelli lives in Paola with her husband Jeff and enjoys visiting her 4 sons in college.
DESI KURKOWSKI, Event Design
Desi joined the Town Square team over 4 years ago. She loves the creative side of this job . Desi coordinates events and also handles part of the marketing side of Town Square.
Having lived in Paola for 24 years, she has built a successful photography business and has operated a studio for 12 years. She was able to raise 2 children while working around her passion. Now that her children are grown, it has allowed her more time to pursue different avenues to fill her time.
